Date is set. Route looking like the one above. How do people feel about removing the leg between Cookstown and Omagh and just coming straight down the western side of the Lough?

Small update folks, things coming together now. Meeting at 8.30am for a bit of banter and departing at 9am should beat most of the Sunday drivers. Have hopefully found a mid morning location for a stop after the first hour and a bit for some coffee and nice views, but still awaiting confirmation from the land owner. After that, it should be 90 minutes to the ideal lunch location.

Now what are people's preferences regarding this? BBQ? Sandwiches? Fast Food? Restaurant? There is a coffee shop onsite that I believe serves basic food, but I'll confirm tomorrow.

At this point, those heading South again can take the Mourne route (more great roads) to Newry and onto the motorway, or follow the rest back North to finish around the Belfast/Bangor area for 2.30PM.

I'm going to remove the routes from the forum and keep it to email from this point on, I'll do my best to contact those signed up but if I miss anyone, email me through my profile.

I've just been informed that the stop off for lunch have started charging £4.50 for entry... I've contacted them about a reduced rate for the numbers of cars on the run.

We may need to move the meeting point to the playing fields right next door (50 yards past the original meeting point), as I've been in contact with the land owner and they're not playing ball.
