I wouldn't believe it for a second, considering nowhere in Ireland has it ( they don't even get 97m down there ), and nowhere in Northern Ireland has it.

So where exactly is their unique fuel coming from ?

And let's face it, border regions are quite infamous for their fuel sources and quality....

Had a mate of mine run it on his stage 4.25 GTR and he says it ran perfect on his 99 oct map, i also have a GTR R35 which is also stage 4.25 and mine also has a 99 octane map i can run so i intend to fill up on the weekend and switch the map to the 99, the system will quickly tell me if there is any pre ignition going on when put the vehicle under load, the garage is known locally to have the best fuel, ill keep you posted as to how it all goes

Just recently drove 62 mile round trip to buy this so hopefully it is actually 99ron I called ahead to the shop to make sure and they said it had a 99 ron label on the pump (of course that doesn't mean its true)
Car feels a bit more nippy. How can it be the only place in the whole if Ireland that sells it? Who can be contacted to find out if its actually the right stuff on the label? (new poster here).

UPDATE ON THIS

I too am dubious regarding Hughes 99 . Where’s it from ? Why doesn’t anyone else have it ? Etc …

Found a place called ‘Go’ fuel on the main road into NI from Dublin which has 98 octane ‘Super unleaded’ it’s not V Power quality but close enough I guess compared to elsewhere.

All other stations K circle , Apple Green etc. in the south have ‘premium’ clean fuel but it’s still only 95 .

Hope this helps 👍

The story is it is 97 with an additive from Exocet to bring it up to their claimed 99.

Whether it's really a 97, or 95 as a starter...who knows. What it ends up as...who knows.

I'd wonder if it really does match up to any British Standards correctly

100% legit fuel companies here....there is only 97 or 95 RON fuel. There is no 98. There is no 99.

Southern Ireland has only 95. There is no other grade of petrol there.
