I like being reminded how cool it is living in NZ.

I saw the 037 shown at the end out at HD today, Not in the Ferrari Festival but lurking nearby. It was so much smaller than I imagined, but every bit as aggressive.

Yeah I've been following this too, looking forward to seeing how it develops. I think hat Alitalia Stratos replica is scratch built too, ie not a kit, pretty clever!

Just saw that vid today too, plenty of familiar cars and roads! Looking forward to seeing the Stratos and 037 properly in the next episode.

Cracked me up his comments about having total confidence in Tony Johnstone's driving (in the V8 Capri), he is a classic for getting overenthusiastic and spinning the thing. Mind you he doesn't usually chuck it too far off the road, I can only remember him properly stacking it once.

It does sound good eh, the old 5.8 windsor lump I think. Sounds and steers on the gas like a jetboat!

There are quite a few V8-transplanted rally cars down this way actually - Avenger, Starlet, Escort, RX7, Silvia just off the top of my head.
