Awesome looking machine. Noted for when I get my VX out here/hands on one already out here.
There are a few out here. There were like 5 vx220 at the show I was at today.

Not too far from me then, I'm in Gore.

Some very nice machinery posted in this thread, I'm letting the team down! hehe
As long as you enjoy what you have - that's what it is all about.
BOOM! Bang on! I have mates with beat up evos and subarus that they take on the gravel roads and while we have fun in our cars, I am jealous they dont care about scratches.
True enough, I don't have much interest in shows but enjoy getting loose on the gravel! hehe

I've just rejoined the MX5 brigade too...

Presumably the British car show? I'm in contact with the owner of a yellow one from Chch and I know of the guy with the silver Opel badged one so I'm slowly building the contacts up.

The yellow one is for sale and I'm tempted. Weighing up whether I'm better selling mine in the UK and spending the extra on this one to save the hassle of shipping and compliance.

My two lightweight frogs, both of which I've owned for some time:

Alpine A310V6:

And for something completely different, a Dyane 6:

Both fun to drive, but for quite different reasons!

Yes this was likely me, where did you see it ? I am in Remuera and pic was taken in Newmarket BP. I believe there are only 3 in NZ, one being a restoration in Hamilton still in progress (Silver), mine and one locked away in Northland.

Yes I know it is a bike, not a car. Only been in NZ for 8 months. Got a plain vanilla Golf for family car that I share with my wife. I’m thinking of buying another car but not sure what to get. Fairly limited choice compared to the UK.

A nicer photo of the MX5...

MX5 in the fog by Ben, on Flickr

I'm not really a fan of the white wheels, meaning to put some black ones on it but haven't found some I like enough to buy yet.

Should the judiciary wish to know. I can neither confirm nor deny that I was on the Avid 1500. Not until such point in time as I address my lawyer and pay the inevitable substantive retainer.
I can however state that my journey back into CHCH, driving the Sagaris (It's owner having 28 days to contemplate a better radar detector), was rather timid. (and deafening).

Brilliant. I wondered who drove the Sag back.
