There must be a good story behind this.

Was a brand new car out on an invitational drive day with the dealership and some of their clientele and prospective customers. It hit a bank and rolled along Peak road out near Kaukapakapa, allegedly with a prospective client at the wheel. Car had only been delivered to the dealership a week previous and was basically brand new.
Members of the public reported seeing a group of Laborghinis "hooning" through the area before the accident, although you know how easily people exaggerate the speed of loud cars without knowing anything.

...or this, which is certainly cheaper than a Fraser!

I like the idea of it - I see the kit is made by Factory Five in the USA who IIRC have a reputation for very good Cobra replicas. You could probably do it for $25k all up if you're handy with the spanners and find a donor car at a good price - how would that compare to a Fraser? I'm sure you could add $10k onto the price pretty easily with juicy bits - would be a serious weapon though even if it is a bit porky compared to a Seven.

Yeah...........nah! Aren't they supposed to have a piano on the roof?A Morris Marina ? Are you serious ?
A piano ? No - the top half of the crusher would be more fitting ....
The only thing they were better than was the Austin All-Agro (allegro), and even that was only by the tiniest margin.
The only good thing to do with a Marina was to turn it into a Marlin (kit car).
But I guess like a lot of things, they become so rare that they suddenly turn into collectibles....

That's the only reason why I posted it - some cars have become desirable beyond reason! It probably has more interest than this http://www.turners.co.nz/Cars/Search/Bentley/Turbo... which if was less than $10k I'd give it some consideration

Wow - that strikes me as pretty cheap already, but I guess you're going to need you own refinery to keep it fuelled up !It probably has more interest than this http://www.turners.co.nz/Cars/Search/Bentley/Turbo... which if was less than $10k I'd give it some consideration

A friend recently took in a Bentley Turbo for a service and 'checkover' as it wasn't running quite right, he found over $20,000 of issues that needed attending to.
The owner then requested a basic service and advertised it for sale at $22,000, he accepted $12,000 5 months later.
