When I was searching for a plate for the Saker I tried this one www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Car-parts-accessories/Personalised-Plates/auction-77035878.htm on the Plates.co site but was pretty sure it wouldn't be available and it wasn't nor any variations. Who'd spend that much coin on a plate. I only just spend $400 for mine

Shouldn't it be a Euro shaped plate?

That one has been on TM for possibly over a year. There was another for sale down South about 6 months ago with Stack dash, fire eater system, race engine and spare original engine for around the same price. They're quick but I think they're blimmen ugly. Personal taste obviously. I'd like one with a shell over it.

I've driven an Atom 2 around the old Taupo track.

Would easily have a XTR2 over a standard Atom 2-220 and simply wouldn't bother with an Atom 1.

An atom 1 isn't any quicker around a track than an Elise S160 (or quicker version Elise)... which means it's about the same pace as my car is now..... and it's only about a quarter as usable (I don't mind impractical cars, but cars that pepper your face with stones on the road and soil your clothes from the spray off the wheels isn't my idea of a fun road car)

The supercharged Honda-engined Atom is slower around a track than a supercharged honda-engined Elise (although the atom is marginally quicker through the gears due to the ~150kg weight benefit)

That doesn't explain the stains on the "inside" eek

Don't you need a delivery vehicle between your two premises

Anyway it's almost Christmas bonus time

Is it a soft-top or a no-top?

I always preferred the 904 GTS to the 550 - only ever seen one replica on the net though, it was a one-of-a-kind special build and worth mega$$$

but...

Hehe...thanks Graham.

No more toys for a while. We are in the process of building another Cafe and our Freezer just died the other week so things are a bit tight this Christmas.

The 550 is mostly a "no-top" although some come with a "raincoat" top. I'll own one "one day".

I have a bit of a dream to open a MotorMania type cafe with all types of automobile paraphanalia, a fun area for kids with rides etc, a go kart track, and some display vehicles etc(the 550 fit's into this bracket). A lot more to it but what I call a "destination Cafe". I've been collecting up some stuff already. Have boxes of old video's, DVD's etc, coin op rideon. Just waiting for the right spot and the right time. We are looking at opening a factory in the future and I may even tie it into that if I think it will work logistically. Our existing Cafe is frequented by car buffs...

The 904 is a lovely car. I have seen a few for sale on the net for reasonable money. I have one in 1/18th 4th from the left in red
