It's a Lotus. Like a woman, only more expensive and less predictable.

Nice one Richard.

I see in the Herald today (not a big day for cars) there were TWO year 2000 Lotus Esprit twin turbo V8's

16,000km for $95,995; and
76,000km for $75,000

The second one is Red and is extra special because it's an Espirit

Sorry mate. I've done some importing but no exporting.

I presume it was a private sale rather than a retail purchase?

"How much !! Tell him he's dreaming."

BTW - You seem to be spending a lot of time on Trade Me. Still committed to the Saker?

Hahaha... I always spend too much time on the net let alone Trademe. The Saker is coming along nicely. The next 6-8 weeks are pretty full on for me at work so it'll be very little cars and mostly work. I don't mind cause if I'm busy it means were making money...and that's what pays for the cars. Bruce himself is also pretty busy as a Saker aquaplaned & hit the front straight wall a couple of weeks back so he has to repair that and also the SuperGt one is back for final touches. Mines still getting worked on but isn't his prime focus. Had that Westie on the track again lately

rofl If only we knew of a restaurant / cafe / bakery etc that has an Automotive theme.

Haven't tracked the Westie recently and probably wont until the 22nd of Jan at Puke.

How much of your car are they stealing to fix the broken Saker? hehe

Good point hadn't thought of that. It'd be pretty obvious with GULF BLUE panels. Seriously tho it was a sprint and not a SVS

I've been wanting a 911 rear end couch for a while...I'll get one made one day.

911 Couch would be cool. Friend of ours aquired the front end of a 56 Chevy and chopped it to restore the front wheels, panels forward. He painted it a candy red, working front lights, indicators and got a glass top fabricated to fit the top to serve drinks over it. The whole thing sticks out from their bar at home. Hes clearly a hot rodder with the 50's theme in mind Would love to do this kinda theme ourselves.

I like this - for trackdays :-)

You could run right over an itty bitty Elise and never even know.
