Now that would be FUN! IIRC a stage with Michele Mouton in the Quattro fetched over $1000 at Otago a couple of years back, be interesting to see what that goes for.

When it was at $450 I thought " I'm gonna win this" At $800 I was out. At $1500 I thought I could buy a whole week in a performance car for the same amount. And at $2500 I thought I could actually buy a whole car........ It'd be a stunning eight minutes, but eight minutes nonetheless.....

And for that I'd get to fang drive spiritedly all round the South Island's finest roads, drive every major circuit, stay in fine hotels and hangout for 7 fantastic days with 20 like minded people. A cautionary note: The NZ police bought my WRX last week to pursue those having a little too much fun on the open road. Have fun Ben, I look forward to your tales and pictures.

Have fun Mr Cheese! I wish I was joining you.
Make sure you have a good chat to Paul Aston who's doing the tour in his New Aluminium S1 Elise with Gunmetal wheels.
That's my old car (sorely missed) and I reckon the best S1 in New Zealand as an all-round car... so much quicker than it has any right to be!

I quoted in past tense as I can't make the Southern Tour post earthquake. Ben is flying the Southern Flag for us and I'm sure he's looking forward to showing the Northern masses a thing or two about gathering up 150kph power oversteer.
