That's great! Wouldn't want to mess that first part up, looks a long way down. Makes Mt Hutt look like a walk in the park

Hi George. Good to hear it up and running well on the track finally. Yours sounds amazing the way it revs, mine just seems to sound like some noise.

Cheers Aaron, and fear not... an Elise with a Larini exhaust can sound very nice indeed! This is my old one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyXsDdqt0bAAnd yeah, the Exige isn't doing too bad for itself now. Seems to have most of the niggles sorted out and runs very strongly. It's running Hampton Downs in 1:13.5 now, which is about the quickest street-legal car around there that I know of. There will be a few quicker, but not many. The only cars I've seen running similar times are generally roll-caged race cars running slicks... which ain't too bad for a little Rover K engine.

Twizel 250 - bad weekend. A tonne of peat in the side pods meant no air to the intercoolers, oil and trans coolers. Well down on power we ended up toasting the Albins sequential trans. http://youtu.be/Ox1n2r7ttxUNelson 500 enduro championship - Mixed bag. An alignment two days before the event showed 5.5degrees of toe out in the rear. I couldn't see any damage, or how it could have shifted so didn't believe it... bad move. The car was all over the place. Ended up with a severely curtailed top speed and fighting the rear end all weekend. Still managed a strategic overall win by keeping it clean. Now the NZ enduro champion. www.youtube.com/embed/xUWYIy5iPbQ

Fraster said: WOW - blown away with that!! Makes Hampton Downs - or any other NZ track for that matter - look 2nd rate. Shades of Spa Francorchamps and even Monza's Curve Parabolica. Agreed with youtube poster that some of those concrete abutments look very dangerous. Thanks Fraster, great post
