Butter yellow TVR, soft top with cage, dark head light covers, an alloy heat sheild on passengers sill. Under tray at the rear. Sounded great.
In Waipu, Northland, the sticks no less. A welcome change from mud or dust covered 4x4's, made me feel we are not totally on another planet
Cheers
Mark

Spotted on the back of a transporter on Blenhiem road, Christchurch. One spectraflair green TVR Cerbera. Is this another to add to the list of Cerbera's in NZ?

Daniel.

That's a flip-flop colour right?

I know that NZ's only road-legal Cerbie (as of last year) was a 4.5LW (with the projector beam lights) in a flip flop colour scheme.

Flip flop? IE changing color? If so then you are right, it's spectraflair. Interesting to see it on the back of a transporter, and also in Christchurch (thought all Cerberas, on and off road were North Island based)

Nope, the only road legal Cerbie (got in before the law change that banned them IIRC) was owned and run by the bloke who runs "Cookie Time" down on the outskirts of Christchurch (south). I remember seeing it in the parkign lot at the skope classic and at a car show when I was studying down there circa 2000-2001. It was a 4.5IIRC, started my love affair with TVRs that car did smile

I heard a rumour that it broke an engine somehow and spent rather a lot of time off the road but that's all I know so whether it's broken again or still broken, I'm not so sure.

I know personally a CHCH owner of a lazer blue S2, but my understanding hes in the process of moving to Tauranga, perhaps taking the long way up north wink And he said he was driving up too.
