Hi all I am looking for any recommendations as to where to take my standard Mk 1 Focus RS for servicing and general upkeep. The car has been looked after on the south coast all of its life but a 280 mile round trip isn't practical.
I am based in the Braintree area.

Thanks Paul.

Could try DR Autos in Bishops Stortford. They are well renowned for performance Fords in the area and have a great reputation.

I live in Chelmsford and take mine to SCC in St Albans - would highly recommend them.

AMD in Lakeside is another option (I've been on the rolling road there, never had anything done there though).

NWJ Autocare
Which is Neil Johnson on here.

He is great on all cars but does like his Fords and in particular Rs models.
He knows all about the Focus RS too as he owns one.

As above, Neil will be great on a MK1 RS, his own one is a beast !

Have also taken my own car to Neil for a few bit and bobs, can not fault his work smile

I had a few mods fitted there to my RS back in 2009..

1. The air 2 air kit they fitted was lashed up, squeezing one of the pipes between the fog light and bumper lip.

2. The K&N Gen 2 kit they fitted was so close to the turbo that the filter melted.

3. The polybush kit they fitted was not lubed.

4. Whilst my car was in they borrowed the brake pedal switch to try on another customers car. Then forgot to put it back. So I left the garage without working brake lights.
