Really sorry guys, I didn't know they had started resurfacing the dual carriageway near Hatfield. Blood Audi passing at high speed spraying the stones up! Dick.

Very good run out to the SS, thanks.
Retraced the route home but it was a very sedate affair as I was tailed by a police bike and 2 traffic at various stages along the route !!! Did however see 31mpg !

I filled the tank at the start and again when I got home. £28 I'm scared to work it out.

By my reckoning that's about 20mpg, I averaged 18!
