Carburettor Specialist Essex

Hi Guys,

Dragging my Mk4 Cortina out of hibernation next weekend and getting her up and running for the summer. She'll need a full service fresh fuel etc but I also really need to find someone who is decent at setting up twin 45 webbers on a SOHC Pinto it runs an agressive camshaft so setting idle is paramount but everyone who's had a go at it has failed...misrably

It tends to overfuel badly run lumpy (I know the cam is a factor of this) and flood itself

Can anyone recmommend a specalist local to Maldon/Chelmsford area who would be able to help for sensible money?

I also need to find someone who stocks MK4 Exhaust rubbers aswell if you know of anywhere im all ears.

I know it's a little bit of a trek, but Mowatts at the top of Pound Lane, Basildon (just off the A127 London bound) were always very good, and are a Webber agent,

You should be able to get it running fairly smoothly even with a wild cam, the flooding, overfueling will be float level too high or leaking float/s
