Right, I have been allocated parking in Long Stay 2.

Is it as close to the terminal as claimed or am I going to need hiking boots?

I can only assume that entertaining a 3 year old once inside will be pretty tough. laugh

It's fine - pulling a suitcase, you'd be hard pressed to take more than 3 minutes to walk to the terminal. Probably a fair bit less.

There's a local cab company that can take you from the car park. I'm not saying it's a long walk or anything...........but I'm fat so I don't walk anywhere if I can help it.

Good airport, the same person checks you in, puts you through security and then checks your boarding pass onto the plane. Haha! (well not quite but almost)

If you parked at Tesco you'd be a lot closer than at many airports

Well that was as straight forward as you could ever get - even got to look at the car as we taxi'd along the runway!!! laugh

As airports go Southend is as basic as it gets but that is fine with me.

Poppy enjoyed her first flight too which helped a lot. cool

Back in blighty now, weather is tosh!!!
