This has been a 40mph camera since forever.

Now its a new camera and to pay for itself they have decided to change the limit there to 30mph. Its catching lots and lots of people. Don't be one of them. Poorly sign posted too.

Both ways or one side of the fly-over? Can't do the fly-over much more than that unless you want to go airbourne!

Those 30 signs are a joke, it's been like that for months. They've more or less used little repeater signs at the start of the section and then not put any more up for the rest of the stretch where it used to have a massive 40 sign and repeaters all the way down.

Well definatly London bound before the money laundering car wash. Not sure about the southend bound side.

London-bound. The previous camera was not working for some time (even had a red X on it) but it was replaced a few months ago. Quite a few of my colleagues weren't that bothered as they hadn't registered the 30 sign before the traffic light, which doesn't get canceled.

Cobblers, looks like I'll be getting a ticket then. I went through there very early this morning at 40 and suddenly remembered this thread. It didn't flash, does it have to flash?

Good news. The London bound cameras view is now completely blocked by trees!!

Trees have been trimmed back and white 30 markings have been stencilled on the road surface...
