I don't really care if you believe me or not. The facts of the matter are as follows:

I had a small scratch on one of my GTS wheels and was advised to use Lepsons instead of someone else.
When the wheel came back, the finish was nothing like factory (I could have done a better job with a spray can myself) plus they had also marked the wheel, refitting the tyre.

Their second attempt was just as bad and they had the temerity to request I send the other 3 wheels (all like new) and they would bastardise those with the same non-factory and rubbish finish.

After explaining to them that I did not want to have a non-factory finish to the wheels (they struggled to see my point), they claimed they could not achieve a factory finish and my expectations were not realistic. I pointed out that their very own website advertised refurbishing wheels back to a factory finish. They got very upset with the conflict and made up all sorts of excuses and were very defensive as to why they could not achieve a factory finish and were rude about it to boot. They even wanted to acid dip the wheel again and return it bare!

Hence I pushed for a refund and got one. Subsequently I have the wheel expertly repaired.

Given my experience, I would not trust Lepsons with any work whatsoever.

Rimtec in Meopham worth a look. Have been very impressed with the standard of work and are genuine guys- this did mean however that I ended with a set of 3 wheels as when they stripped the wheels they found some damage on one from a previous owner that had been welded to a dubious standard. They called me straight away to let me know as they wanted to discuss it with me in person before they did any more work. Would have been easy for them to dress out the marks and repaint it as if nothing had happened. I wasn't charged for the work they had done on the dodgy wheel.
