Hi all, any ideas if the M25 going anti-clockwise has front facing cameras on the opposite side of the road, near the (i think its called) Holmesdale tunnel? (Maybe Broomsdale, something like that, the shorter of the two close to each other).

I saw a camera flash on the opposite side just after I left this short tunnel, whilst on my way to the Silverstone sunday service. Glanced down and my speed was a bit high. Did slow down for the rest of the day though.

Cheers!

The cameras on the Northern section of the M25 from Herts to Essex do work and are the new type that are also really accurate but if they were on the other carriageway the flash was unrelated to your speed. The bigger issue if the new HADECs??? cameras which are difficult to see and sit to the left of the gantrys.

Cheers Rob, that's sort of comforting! Do the new ones on the gantry's not flash? Or maybe they're only active during variable speed limits? I wasn't moving much faster than traffic at the time, but a little higher than usual (having some fun in the tunnel). I'd say I was at 85mph tops so if I am caught I am bang to rights and won't argue, except for a speed awareness course.

License held five years now, be nice to keep it clean, especially as I've been in mr2 turbo's for 3 of those years! smile
