Morning,

I notice they have ever so kindly removed the fixed yellow speed cameras in both directions....

Ignoring the 30mph limit where they are redoing the barriers for the past 10 months, do the other average cameras work yet ?

As you leave the tunnel there is new unusual looking camera just by the first slip road, and then another past the Crayford turning.

Do they work yet ?

Thanks

Looked these up the other day and they are meant to be going live in November but signs will be illuminated on the A2 before hand to give warning

I've only seen the one near Crayford and another near the tunnel - what happens of you join/exit at another junction along the route?

Because they are black, they are fking hard to tell apart from the street lighting posts! Easier to spot in the dark as they shine a bright white light onto the carriageway.

I can only guess these cameras are to raise money, just like the ones they have stuck on a 10 mile stretch of the A1 by Grantham, but at least these are yellow, and don't even get me onto the ones on the A9 going to Inverness furious

If you're not a daily user, better safe than sorry though.

Depends on where you start from, but if it's from Edinburgh or points west of Perth what self-respecting PH member would use the A9 to reach Inverness? wink
