Polished wheel refurbisher

Hi chaps,

Can anyone recommend a someone that can refurbish polished alloy wheels with grooves in it? Neither our local people nor Lepsons can refurbish the wheels on the 308 GT Line due to the grooves in different shades. This is proving to be a bit of a problem at the moment as it's one of our most popular models!

Any help much appreciated!

Is the "grove" diamond cut, if so then I can't see why anybody with a CNC machine shouldn't be able to cut that.

Even if its not then its still possible, just need 6-7 cutting programs instead of a single one.

It's the same finish as the rest of the wheel, as I understand it, it's the depth of the groove that seems to be the problem.

I phoned the guys in Meopham who said they might be able to do them but I'd have to wait to speak to somebody else when they get back on the 10th of January. It's not an immediate problem, it's just something I'd like a plan for going forward.

If you have an old wheel kicking about id be happy to give it a go, we have thought of a way to cut the whole face without even going into the grove.

I haven't got one at the moment as we just had a set refurbished all in one colour but next time we do (which is quite frequently) I will be in touch, thanks!
