I've been reading up on the LEZ. How long do you think it will be before Red Ken expands the congestion zone to fill the LEZ? The infrastructure will be in place, so it would be relly easy to do.

My worry s that my home is inside the LEZ and the charges for the current congestion zone are changing so any car pre 2001 and above 3.0L will have to pay £25 per day with no residents disount at all. If this ever gets expanded to fill the LEZ then not only would I be fvcked with my car I would also be with my home, as it woudl cause values to plummet in relation to the towns and villiages just outide the M25.

See my comments on the Blackwall Tunnel post but I though that these were a new type of SPECS camera without the inherent fallibilities of SPECS ie. changing lane is no good, they are smaller and work on a wireless link. Could be total bollo* but that was the impression I got. And they are all to do with TfL....

This is extremely worrying - notice the way there is a very ambiguous statement about them being able to change which vehicles it affects over time yikes

High time to get this scumbag out of office ranting
