Bugger. Can't make this one I'm afraid.

I'm up at Rockingham playing on their wet grip facility on Saturday and won't be back 'til probably late on Sunday.

Indeed. And if it turns out to be wrong the alternative will be icy roads like yesterday morning. Either way I don't much fancy it at the moment.

I have a 4 mile drive to work through leafy suburban streets and in the places where the sun hadn't yet reached it was really treacherous. I was amazed just how many dozy people were carrying on totally oblivious to the conditions. Saw 6 very near misses on that short journey.

Not to mention the stupid b1nt who drove at me head on the wrong way down a one way street because she was too censored lazy to make two right hand turns and drive an extra 250 yards round the triangle curse

She was determined to force her way past me but with another car behind me there simply wasn't enough room. So once she realises her alternatives are to make contact with my car or abort she starts mouthing off at me!! Big mistake 'cos that really made my p1$$ boil. Whip out the DSLR from the glove box and, presto, a nice pic of her facing the wrong way two yards from the one way signs! The look on her face was priceless. Pic downloaded as soon as I got to my desk and sent complete with time and date stamp to my mate at the local nick. Wonder how she's going to explain that one.......

Apologies for hijacking the thread but some people just shouldn't be allowed out without supervision.

Well I'd say yes to a new M3, but the bank manager wouldn't!!!

Having seen the forecast last night for a lurvely day today I decided to take the Fury to work today. It was 2.5degrees when I left home; by the time I got to work there was ice on the car, BIG mistake - I was cold, the car got salty, but on the flip side at least it handled perfectly. Had a lovely hoon at lunch tho smile

Well a little tour around, a pint, and some lunch, is quite different from getting up at silly o'clock and ending up in a ditch smile

If so, what time and where?
