Nice turnout indeed, shame of the cold though, it would have been really nice if we could all stand outside nice and relax chatting between the cars without freezeing our asses off. Looking forward to the sunny july/august meets.

And my personal favourite of the evening :

I was a little supprised to see 2 of my collegue's turn up as well.

For the last 2 nights they have been following me around.
I was on the response car, so i would go and treat/assess the patient, and if he/she needed to go into A&E i would call for an ambulance to back me up, and those 2 collegue's in that Rayleigh ambulance have been backing me up the last nights quiet a lot of times, so it was a bit weird to see them turn up again this evening. (turned out they were called to an adress (non-emergency call) on that road, close to the pub but had some trouble locating it biggrin)

Interesting turn out of cars.
Needs hussman to get his fezza on the road for next time, not that i'm nagging wink

The Monaro VXR did it for me & yep i worked it out you were hanging back in the carpark to catch me later down the road hehe
So I pootled along, not needing to check the mirrors cos I could hear it lololol

Nice to put names to a few faces - and thanks to Ben for getting everyone together!

That 2-eleven is an incredible looking piece of kit isn't it! I want one. A lot.

In a car park full of gorgeous machinery, the other examples that caught my eye were the Ferraris - there's just an elegance about them that no other manufacturer seems to be able to match.

Finally, after struggling rather farcifully with my hood for what must have been the best part of 10 minutes (I've only I've put it up once before and never in the dark) I made my way off. There was quite a lot of traffic at the junction, so rather than wait to turn right I went left and looped back at the roundabout. As a result I got to the next roundabout just in time to see (and more to the point, hear) the Ferraris sweep round it. Gorgeous cars...

It was a bit of a fantasy garage in general with TVRs, Tigers, Nobles, Monaros and of course the Scoobies thrown in.

It looks like the photos have been just about covered already, but here are a few more. smile

Good to meet you all and talk to some like minded people. The 2 Eleven was certainly the highlight for me. I look forward to the next meet.

Matt your car is some of the pics so no need to hide itbiggrin

Its not just about the carsI have met some great people and made a lot on new friends, sure we are all car nuts. Talking to strangers in pubs is a bit strange to us first time (or maybe not) so every body is welcome.Matt remember the Ferrari 60th outing we had a few stories to tell after that one biggrinbiggrinbiggrin.

So any body reading this do come along we dont bite.drink
