No, haven't driven by it for a while so I'm not sure. Best give them a ring I reckon.

Are you in Rayleigh? If so, what colour is your VX?

Now scheduled for spring next year, assuming the airport expansion doesn't get the go ahead.

If it does, were probably moving !

LOL biggrin

I didn't know of anything that could disrupt Lord Eggbert's peace and quiet apart from possibly having larger jets flying into Southend airport which would then be using a flightpath over his house. Which is not something I would like either.

A tip - Never look out of the window in the morning as it leaves you with nothing to do in the afternoon ...

Any new cars on the horizon Yex ?

There's bugger all to see when looking out onto Cannon Street - not even much peanut smuggling going on today hehe

I have a confirmed place on the Audi UK list for an RS5 if they ever build it but will sell that option on when the time comes.

Currently getting the Cayman prepared to sell and if it manages to find a home in the current economic climate I'm giving serious condsideration to buying a Dax Cobra. Nothing too silly just the 440bhp V8 stroker engine to begin with laugh I went out in the Dax demo car last week and as it is currently running a 8.2 litre V8 Chevvy big block engine was thoroughly smitten with it. The acceleration from 30 mph upwards was just like being in a video game..... which is nice smile

I can just see you surrounded by boxes of bits with a little tube of glue in one hand, 3000 pages of instructions in the other muttering "do I glue this disc to the hub or bolt it ?!"

Surely a good, Approved Used, 550 Maranello or an M6 will be within your budget now ?

Funny you should say that......seriously though even if I had the money I wouldn't buy something like that. The Cayman is a great car but you really need to push it to get even the slightest hint of sweaty palms, more so with a 550, M6 or even a 911 TT. The Cobra replicas (pre built I should add) have no traction control, no ABS and no airbags as well as being excellent fun to drive at only 50 or 60 mph.

I'll try my hardest to find the Cayman a new home and then test drive a few properly to see if I really do want one.
