Glad you got the plate mounting sorted on the GT, can't believe we were lying on the floor in the dark car park.
I think Ken's got some action shots of me which I may have to buy off him to destroy Thanks everyone for the offers of help as well. For those who were wondering it was those star drive bolts in the end.
Sir Elms and the Miura got my vote for the car of the night. Even lower than the GT! You wouldn't want to be tall and be in one.

Might go and have a look at the bump to see if the road has sunk on one side. I wonder what the chances of claiming off the council are? Very close to zero I bet....

Echo the above. Thanks to everyone who helped and Dion for bringing the Miura, although it's a pity I didn't get to see it in the light. I now have a lot of thinking to do. It was a super meet last night. Some new faces and a lot of regulars. Good to meet Brad and his 430 V Nice . I must join with the others the Muira is just superb. Keep this one for a while Sir Dion of Elm pleeeeese. There were some Beemers Mercs and a well preserved Spitfire as well not to mention the RAM which is about the size of Jupiter !!. Good to see them all.
I had the pleasure of a nice brace of cars outside my house for a while when Phil was fixing his car. Lambo,Ford GT matching Mini Cooper S's and my Fezza. The guys were very considerate pulling away but the sound of the Ford GT and the Lambo was just soooooperb, brilliant.
Finaly I can publish some pics.
And finally the picture they dared me to publish...... a very fine example of a Basildon Cleavage. Who ever mentioned a bare front was'nt a million miles out
See you all next time
Ken

As a first timer i can say it was a very good evening, many thanks to all for making us feel welcome and there was a very nice selection of cars, well worth the drive over.
How often do you guys do these meets?
And to Gav, a good cruise home, but old porsche's shouldnt be driven that quick!
Heres to next time.

The X6 looks tiny next to that behemoth!! Wish it felt like it from behind the wheel!Shame I had to rush off, but needed to get snapping.... will try to make the next one with no work to do!
PS Another vote for that Muira: Gorgeous, and actually the first time I've ever sat in one. 'Interesting' driving position, lovely gearchange
