Home on time, car washed (at work), sun is shining. Nope, can't find a single reason not to make it tonight. See you all soon.

turned up, saw the rain coming, decided to be unsociable and ran away, lightweight mini + 3degrees of camber + yoko tyres = car not really suited to wet weather! sorry would have loved to stay and say hello to whoever was still about. maybe next time. i also now know theres a different exit to the carpark! that bumpy road isnt nice to a mini frown

Thankfully I made it home just before the rain, girlfriend won't be pleased when she arrives home though as I've left all the washing on the line. Did contemplate bringing it in but a rotary washing line resembles a large lightning conductor!

I had a little check about the expansion tank and it seems it is a MK2 Golf GTI Item, which is cheap as chips. There are a fair few people on the tiger owners club forum who have had the pattern parts break on them so it could be a good excuse to find a nice shiny Ali one. Good luck getting it sorted.

I got in to a few drops of rain but did start pushing on a bit when I caught a glimpse of lightning. It always seems to be then you find the dawdlers doesn't it!
