Where in Danbury is that?
Hurralls Lane.
No. That's Little Baddow Ford - https://maps.app.goo.gl/wWEQnD31AFLPCf1HA
It's not surrounded by trees nor does it have marker posts.
The one in the pics is Danbury Ford on Sporhams Lane - https://maps.app.goo.gl/yt4tp2U9FfFkAv1T7

I thought the pics were sporhams per my post. Still need to venture down hurrals again to see how it is these days....

Also spotted a Huracán STO in convoy with a Huracán performante slightly earlier.

Silver Kia EV9 in Chelmsford city centre - first one of those I've seen.

I'm not interested in electric SUV's, but as a design it looked very good (ugly wheels aside).

I saw a couple of rare Subarus last week, one was a Forester tS and the other a Legacy tS.

Foz was in Galleywood and Leggy in Chelmsford.

First of either I've seen over here, iirc they only made 300 of those Foresters.

Red Alfa 4C passing Chelmsford's B&Q/Audi dealer this morning. Later in the day a modded '50's US pick-up truck in Ongar and shortly before that a '90's US saloon, maybe an Oldsmobile of some sort - it had a "nostril" type of grill.

Bit of a stretch to say a Kent or Essex spot though!

Sorry, but any local dogger worth their salt will know perfectly well that the aforementioned ford with the flooded Merc is in fact the one on Sporehams Lane in Danbury, not the one along Hurells Lane out of Little Baddow, where I believe it does occur. It has however, been amusing reading the dogging knowledge of various members biggrin

The steering wheel, spoiler and splitter too!

Only ever had a passage ride in one, when they were new, never driven one. If the brakes were anything like my mkI XR2 then I suspect it got exciting quite quickly.

The problem it had was that, as an homologation special, it was engineered primarily as a left hand drive car, the brake master cylinder and servo was on the left as there was no room on the right. So with right hand drive versions the pedal actuated a cross-bar across the front of the bulkhead to the master cylinder.
Fundamentally that’s fine and has been done on a few occasions but with the 16i the bulkhead was quite flexible which meant the effort on the pedal didn’t all get translated to the master cylinder, and the brakes felt “soft” as a result. The first time I drove one this very nearly caught me out!
The rest of the car was great.

/nerd-mode appreciated.

I've always wanted an RS1600i & looked at one some years ago at a dealers in Southend/Eastwood (w/ obvs hindsight should've bought it).

Via the RS Club 250 were made in Strato Silver - assuming that the one that I saw was original (and real) it's now very rare.

Unusually I was a passenger today but didn't get a chance to get a pic.
