Forgot to add, in Latchingdon this afternoon was a stunning electric blue Monaro - the soundtrack even at low speed was "all about the bass" and I was smitten.

Owned and driven by "Mel" judging by the plate, lucky lass.

A white Citroen BX on the road in Chelmsford earlier - second one I've seen this week, must be some sort of record there (for 2015!).

Even more unusual was an Aston Cygnet in Thorpe le Soken at the weekend - only the second one I've ever seen on the road.

It annoyed me on Friday though. Went to a wedding and stayed over at a hotel, got a call at 11 to say the alarm was going off! Bloody thing, never done it before but waits till I am a hundred miles away and starts blaring it's sodding alarm!

Apologised to next door neighbour when I got back on Sunday, he said "Friday night? I didn't hear it mate, I was pissed!"

Which made me feel better.

Seen a bright red 911 (964) a couple of times today on New London Road, Chelmsford - looks & sounds

Grey Gallardo Spider at 6am near Tollgate, Colchester.

Red Lancia Fulvia coming down Spital road and heading towards Danbury in Maldon this morning.

Very old TVR, no idea what model but it was Red, on the A12 and joined the A130 towards Wickford.

Just had a quick Google - it was one of these in a more Italian shade of Red.

Whilst out in the family motor I'm Pretty sure it's almost a neighbour of mine but spotted this at the end of my road hitting the Hastings road in Bromley, looked and sounded lovely , now I know what car it is that I hear starting up lol
