wandered down to the Oak on the green in bearsted with the family and what should greet me in the car park....
a lovely mk2 996 GT3 CS in silver with red details. lovely lovely car and there was not a mark on it. massive tip of the hat to the owner. it was just superb. you don't see many 996 GT3s these days, let alone a CS. so being an owner it was a real treat.
proper CS with the nomex seats , CS cage and air con delete. was a lovely day, superb weather, lovely food and company and to see one of those was a real treat. how many CS did they make? 40 odd?
I doubt it has many miles on it as it literally looked like it had come out of the showroom and a 10 year time warp!

Did anyone see the huge police convoy northbound on the A12 yesterday morning? Outriders, unmarked cars, tactical units, meat wagons. Probably 25 vehicles in all. Never seen anything like it.
Any idea what it was all about?

Spotted loads of tvr's and a local Ferrari looked like they was in convoy from a wedding . Also came across a light blue Tuscan between Hewitts farm and the m25. Had a nice drive together and shared a thumbs up after hitting the m25. I want a tvr!!
HiThat was yours truly & friends escorting the newlyweds to the reception in their S3.
Traffic made for a slow drive but great to be part of their special day.
I hate to report that the 512BB is pigging quick!

Plenty of nice motors going topless in Essex today.
4pm in Hatfield Peverel - Black 13 plate Granturismo/Cabrio.
10 mins earlier in Witham, Black 458 Spider leaving the industrial estate and squirting onto the A12 Colchester bound.
8am in Heybridge was the Yellow with Black roof 458 "Rage X".
Most notable though was one of the Bicnacre massive!!! I only realised at the last second that I recognised the car so failed to flash.
Going topless between Fyfield and Ongar at lunchtime today was that sweet sounding TVR with the worlds smallest front numberplate. L500 XXX
