Outside The Swan pub on Loose Road in Maidstone yesterday, a light blue E21 BMW 3-Series and a red Rover P5, both pro-street style with very noisy V8s, both looking and sounding fantastic!

And a dark blue Triumph TR6, also sounding great but with a slight misfire at high revs.

Oh, and a blue Cobra replica with a lovely loud V8.

They came past me whilst out cycling, looked like they were heading towards a car show in Appledore as you say sounded fantastic

Happened to be out for a walk with the girlfriend the other day and walked past this guys house... wow! Even nicer close up. Didn't spot any of the others mentioned above though. I couldn't talk to said girlfriend for about 15 minutes afterwards, was speechless/having a crisis.

Saw the e21 at Polhill car show near Sevenoaks a week last Monday, absolutely fantastic build.

I keep hearing, then seeing, a lovely white Mk1 Capri on a 1970 J plate with a V8 conversion around the Loose area of Maidstone. Last time was Thursday morning and it headed out towards Marden down Linton Hill. Sounds amazing.

Went for breakfast at The food Company in Marks Tey with my lad today, spotted a little fella taking a phone pic of the DC5 saying "going to put that on facebook".

That car has been mentioned a couple of times on this thread quite recently.
In fact I saw it again yesterday evening heading the opposite way down Loose Road.
It has a '3500' badge on the front wings, so I'm guessing it has a Rover V8 fitted.
I agree, it does look and sound flippin' great!

Also yesterday, between Maidstone and Headcorn, I saw at least twenty VW Camper vans of various vintage and a white Opel Monza with a related number plate, possibly MON2A.

I also followed a silver Nissan 350GT Skyline.

Then in Mote Park at the Ramblin' Man Fair this McLaren;

I saw the white Monza with the plate definitely MON 2A in the Sainsbury's car park in Maidstone a few months ago and took a pic.

I would guess these were going to or from headcorn aerodrome as was a vw show there this weekend
