I 99% sure there are no direct flights, so what's the best option? I've looked at a few options but over to you guys first for some insider knowledge!

Transit through DFW will give you the most options - and a short internal flight.

Gatwick to Atlanta then on to Tulsa with Delta?

Cheers chaps. DFW was one option I was looking at, but might drive from there. Off to see a petrol head friend so as it'll be cars all the way, might as well start as I mean to go on!

I hadn't considered via Atlanta so I'll take a look. Trying to do it the fastest route rather than the cheapest.

I've looked at this. I think I've my solution now, just interested why this is good? Just because it isn't Heathrow (which can be a plus I admit)?

I was in DFW last week and their process of having to go through passport control, collect bags from international flights, go through customs and then check everything in again and then go through security in Terminal D is a very good reason to avoid the place.

I lived in Tulsa for a year and travelled regularly from Manchester. Easiest was via Chicago and AA was always reliable.

You didn't say where in the country you were and I live south of London so its always my first port of call over Heathrow simply because it is nearer and its also a far less stressful experience because its smaller.
