I have a 1959 Austin Healey Sprite as my car here in Toronto, I don't have an everyday beater, only access to my wifes 2012 Golf, does anyone know of a company that would actually insure my RHD car for a reasonable sum? I currently pay $125 a month, which seems high for a car I insured in the UK for 120gbp p.a. (yes really!!)

Cheers in advance

Hi
Not sure if I can help much I live in the US. I have 3 RHD classic cars (Scimitar, Herald, SP250), a LHD XJS and a Jeep as my daily driver. I have them all insured under the Grundy MVP scheme and no problems. Fully comp, 5 cars is about $1200US per year, agreed value on the 4 classics. I have no idea how this compares to others out there. RHD shouldn't make any difference, with collector car insurance at least. When I moved to the US from the UK and went to insure my RHD Herald for everyday use a couple of companies refused when I mentioned RHD though.
Good luck
