Mimizan recommendations

Hi

We are heading down to Mimizan for a few weeks, can any one recommend things to do and see? As Spain is so close we were thinking about either the pyreness or Bilbio?

Is Biarritz a decent city to visit?




We normally go the Vandee area so any ideas would be much appreciated.

Biarritz is great , laid back surfer vibe with a couple of nice beaches and any number of places to eat and drink , half hour down the road is San Sebastián , more tapas bars than you can imagine , just be careful of the cheap wine , it's very easy to end up very drunk !
Both places are well worth a visit , I go every year for a few days when I'm in the Dordogne .
