Any PH'ers on here in the path of Matthew? I'm in Charleston, SC and bloody hoping the prediction of a downgrade to Cat 1 by the time it reaches here is true!

Best wishes to anyone further south.

All well on the west coast in Tampa Bay. Hotels are full. I have friends on Hilton head who have fled to Atlanta and also in Wilmington NC where it will get windy and wet. Miami area was fine....the most damage so far has been Space Coast and Jacksonville plus inland areas up the river.

Casualty in our neighbourhood... only a tree, but a mighty big one at that.
Nothing a few chainsaws and residents couldn't fix.. Raleigh, North Carolina.

After 2 inches of rain per hour all day..

A good friend in Wilmington is having a challenging time. Am awaiting news of debris ad fallen trees soon. Beaches there are not doing so well.

I got off relatively lightly. One small tree down in the back garden and that was about it. Never lost power either.
Seems NC got a lot of flooding.
Overall not as bad as predicted????

Miami Beach was just a little breezy and it sprinkled a little bit. It wasn't bad at all here. Up in Savannah, Ga it was bad.

A guy I work with is in West Palm beach. It missed them directly but had some bad winds / rain. They prep'd for the worst, boarded up the house etc...
