Taxi fares in Seattle

Anyone give me any idea of taxi fares over there in the States, from Sea-Tac airport to Redmond, where I am going is about 5 miles East of Microsoft off Novelty Way, google says its 28 miles in around 40 mins, but up to 1.5 hours in traffic, and I am arriving at 1700 on a Thursday.

Not worried about the money, but the other half who is going over to see our daughter on her own was wondering.

For a trip like that I would schedule a Town Car from any one of what's probably a myriad of Limo Companies in Seattle. Probably be the same amount or less even, and she'll be riding in a Lincoln Town car versus a beat up dirty taxi.

Google "Seattle Airport Limo"

Tip? usually 15-20%, just like a restaurant.

Tks for info, don't think i'll be going to NYC though, just going over to see daughter and husband, both of whome have emigrated from UK to work there in Redmond. Lovely place, visited Vancouver earlier in the year, and a few days in Seattle.
