I hear the 3.14 people are moving in to the old construction workers site soon, they'll be joining the fun I'm sure.

What's going on at the tunnel today then? Just had to run up to Hurtmore, Northbound is fine, but the Southbound carriageway is shut with traffic backing up, marked Discovery 4 was just arriving as I went by.

5 vehicle accident, Southbound other side of the tunnel but obviously they close the tunnel because they don't want traffic queuing inside it.

It's okay Alex, I've already started burying Lead, the odd bit of Depleated Uranium, some oil, a casual Land Mine or nine, and there's a fking huge pile of aAbestos awaiting a match. No 3.142 will want to come near it, even to salvage the metal!

EFS: 'burying' not 'buying'..!

Be advised bib now use an area just outside and to the right of the northbound exit. Whether they are checking plates or whatever I'd watch out - I go through it everyday and it's the first time I've seen this area being used. Hopefully not for noise surveilance but I'm going to be more careful....

It sounds like the hard standing emergancy turn around point in between the two tunnels (where there is a grass strip and no barrier??) - there is on at each end of the tunnels.

Own up! Who switched on the 40MPH signs and the 'incident ahead' signs when a group of us went through the tunnel this morning?

There was no incident either in the tunnel or past it!

Is this the new 'traffic calming' measure to prevent tunnel running? frown
