Funnily enough I did hear last weeks one. I can't think back to the last time I heard it.

However, I'm assuming it was the Bagshot one; although it's possible it was from Bracknell.

The nearest siren to us in Sandhurst hasn't been working for a while and I was told they are all due to be de-commissioned and replaced with a Twitter feed!

Broadmoor is closing down anyway? My mate worked there for many years and recently left because of this.

It's not closing down, it's being redeveloped with new buildings replacing some of the old hospital buildings.

little bit of concern on a couple of local Facebook groups today that the sirens have gone off a few times this morning.

I didn't hear them as my local one's broken and I don't do Twitter, so presumably I'm fair game for any knife-wielding maniac who could be on the loose?

I decided to use Twitter as a tool to find out the answer, and got a message back within 30 minutes from @wlmht (West London Mental Health Trust) who run the place to advise no siren activation today.

So Facebook is wrong and Twitter is right?

And over there on Instagram, we have....

I've not heard it today in Little Sandhurst and I did hear the test yesterday.

I guess wlmht would regard a siren activation as a "live incident" whereas testing would not?
Bear in mind that wlmht HQ is presumably in West London somewhere, and they may not be aware?

I used to work in Ascot. I used to hear the siren test on Monday mornings and think "Crosse & Blackwell" to myself.

Does anyone else in Bracknell hear it right now?

Yes, it's the normal Monday morning test, although very quiet here, so I think the siren nearest to me still isn't working...
