Hopefully the traffic will be better for you lot tomorrow, than it was for me driving home today. Just a heads up, I saw 2 mobile scamera units on my way this morning (one plod with a hair dryer, one Talivan), on the A283 from the A3, one sat just inside a 30, and the other on the exit of a blind bend. Now, I know no one on PH speeds, but keep sharp, tis easy to drift over, especially when you're going early and the roads are empty

I'm going Sunday, how early do I need to get there? I see the car park opening at 6am and doors opening at 7am. I guess that by around 9am it'll be queuing for miles?
What's the best route in?

What's the best route in? I'm aiming to be there by 7.45, I live just down the hill from Hindhead so I'll just go the normal A286 way, don't remember it being bad at all last year. We used to live on the main road through the village into Midhurst, used to watch nice cars queueing from around 10.

I've been past on Thusday and Sat in the mornings, not quite so early as your planning on going though and the traffic has seemed ok from Midhurst. Coming from the A27 on the other hand looked light a nightmare. Saw a que today going from goodwood all the way to about 3 miles from POmpey!!

I had a bit of a nightmare this morning, took an hour to do the couple of miles from Singleton to the car park at about 8.30-ish, no idea why as there was no obvious reason once I got to the car park. It seemed very busy though today, as busy as any Sunday I can remember in the past so god knows what it will be like tomorrow!
Another good show, far too much to see in one day so I decided to get track side for the F1's, American classics, Touring cars and Rally cars then made my way up to the Rally stage for a couple of hours, I plan on seeing the rest tomorrow!
If you have not been up to the Rally circuit its worth a visit, a bit of a walk but worth it. The rain over the past couple of days has made the chalky surface like marble, so unlike previous years where the surface was really dusty this year there is a lot of very sideways action!

Was there yesterday and one of the rally drivers apparently said it was the nearest thing he had ever done to ice racing

Superb, I grew up in Midhurst, so it's my stomping ground, group of us went in a friends M5, rather than take the main road up the hill from Singleton, I directed us off left and out to Charlton and up, didn't make a differene there, but cut most of the traffic leaving. Worst bit was meeting the car park exits by the racecourse. Great day on Sunday though, made full use of Audi and BMW hospitality and Audi @ The Orangery, hello free massage. Another completely expenditure free day out.
