Hi,hoping for some enlightenment here - I very occasionally use the train from Sunningdale to get into London , no changing at Ascot etc being a great benefit. The parking restrictions around Sunningdale seem to have changed. Are all the cars parked along the A30 on a single yellow line on a weekday just chancing it or should I try to get parked up the backroads near Charters school etc ?

What time would you arrive each morning?

There's a huge free car park about a 1 minute walk from the station.

It's only once every six months or so...promise not to use it much or tell anyone bow now , pray tell where is that "facility" and am I right in thinking those cars on the A30 are chancing their arm ?

No idea on the A30 parking and as you might be stopping me buying my hats or having coffee I'll let you know..........

Kinky lives nearby and I'm sure will be chuffed to offer you his drive ;-)

It really is just for the odd shopping trip , visit a museum or to catch a show , all part of the benefit of living within reach of the capital , in the past I have parked on the A30 for the day but the rules seemed to have changed , just want to get ahead of the game , and the OH wants to see Wicked ! If it was still there I could have parked in my old employers car park , you may recognise this piece of Sunningdale's history !

Ah yes - I recognise him smile

Andrews.

Was on that corner for years.

If it's the odd day every few months, then you're more then welcome to use my drive. Less than a minute walk to the station smile

Wow, I just searched for Sunningdale to trty to find out why the bloody level crossing has to stay down for 5 minutes before the arrival of a train, and I came across this! Wow, I haven't seen that thing for years. So long in fact that I can't remember where it was exactly. Which corner was Andrews on?

Yes but where was it exactly? I seem to remember it was on top or a pole where Chancellors estate agents are, but doesn't seem right! Wasn't Andrews where the BMW dealer is now?

Andrews were where Chancellors are now and it was on a large pole close to the corner. But it's all totally changed now frown
