Deepcut Cafe - good call. A great breakfast, and worth the drive over.

Good recommendation. Drove over there this morning for a nice breakfast and cuppa. Opens at 07:30 Sunday which is handy for us early risers.

Been meaning to drop into the Old School Cafe as I often pass it. Spurred on by this thread, I'm going there this morning and will report back. I can almost taste it already.

Just got back, had their Olympic breakfast as pictured. Came with a decent mug of tea for £6.95. Polished it off fairly easily and it was pretty good. However, I don't think it was quite as tasty as my regular brekkie at the Three Mariners (Bagshot).

Will try Deepcut shortly.

The Three Mariners, that's got to be worth a try, I've only been there for drinks. Are they the people that now own the old Tex Mex place now called No 1? What's going on with that place?

Naz (son of Mariners Landlady) managed it on behalf of the previous owner / leaseholder.
With a view to a full takeover after a year.
However it did not even make enough ££ to cover the staff and other overheads.
History now.

Yes indeed.

Yep, the sausages at the 3M are way better than the ones at the OSC, it's the main reason I think the 3M is better. Bacon probably better too but not by such a margin.

Another one for the list - I tried Fairoaks Airport cafe the other day. Good quality ingredients and a decent portion, I did forget to photograph though smile

Such a shame, I knew the previous owner/leasee and he worked hard on that place :-( I thought I hadn't seen him down the tennis club of late :-( good bloke.

Aye, Some of my best drunken Bagshot memories come from Ricky's bloody cocktail attempts and using Hardys as a pre Pantiles Warm-up.

Pantiles - blimey there's a blast from the past - got dragged in there once by a couple of work mates back around '03 i think and my "highlight" of the evening was getting felt up by some rough old cougar woman stood in the queue outside while i was trying to exit the place and go home frown

Got so used to seeing the old people's home which is there now, you almost forget Pantiles used to reside there.

...I had breakfast option 2

Must say a plate full of chips and beans isn't my ideal breakfast. I'd prefer sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes, black pudding with the bacon and fried eggs...
