Well done to Steve for sorting this out, nice little gathering and far better than being dragged around Waitrose. See you at the next one thumbup

A big thank you to everyone that turned up for the first MPH meet. Great to meet new faces and to have a poke around some nice cars. Thanks to Chris Y for taking some photos and posting them so quickly.

I'm also grateful to the TVR boys for swinging by and showing their support!

I'll be arranging another meet and other MPH related stuff soon smile

I'm the guy who coincidentally turned up for lunch in the black Lambo. Sorry I had to dash quickly - we'd only nipped out for a bite and had to be somewhere else at 1400.

I'm local too and would be up for attending a meet properly (weather / work / etc permitting).

I don't know if any of you guys went to the Cliveden Supercar day the previous weekend. It's a good annual event right on our doorstep. Some pics here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chr1sy/sets/721576335...

I had two cars there. They haven't cropped up in many of the photos but did make it into some of the videos. I've been told that I should take a citrus coloured car next year if I want to generate more interest (not something I'm particularly keen on to be honest).

There's no doubting that yellow makes a car stand out. The yellow Aventador was stunning. When I bought my Elise I was looking for yellow but the red with black wheels is almost as good. Which cars did you have at Cliveden?

Yellow, orange or green seems to make the difference. I might go for some sort of tropical fruit respray for next year - that'll get the crowds in. We all know the red ones go faster though.

I had the black Jalpa and the burgundy 308GT4 (ex hillclimber - bigger wheels etc) there this year. The Jalpa did get some attention due to its rarity but that was mainly from owners rather than the public.

I took a few pics of the Jalpa at the Shire Horse but they're not in jpg format yet. Shall I upload them here once converted?
