I have a BMW 120d fitted with run-flat tyres which have only covered approx. 8,000 miles. One recently found a nail meaning the tyre has a very slow puncture. The nail is in the middle of the tyre and not an edge.

Following a visit to my local tyre fitter they said Run-Flats cannot be repaired (further questioning revealed they can be repair however they will not due to policy that they don’t know if the tyres has been driven with no air in which I can understand).

Now I check my tyre pressure weekly as habit so noticed the slow loss of air and the tyre has never been below 27psi so I would therefore like it repaired as a new tyre is £90-£100 ish.

Does anyone know of a tyre place close to Guildford who would repair a run-flat tyre?

We are happy to repair all Run Flat tyres so long as they are repairable.

Junction 8 M25 maybe a bit far for you though, must be someone in Guildford.

Thanks Sarge for your reply. A colleague of mines uses you for tyres as you have the "4x4 painted in lots of colours". If all fails I will give your a call.

http://www.tradetyres.co.uk/ on Slyfield, at the end just before the roundabout for the dump.
Or there's another one just on the left as you enter the trading estate.
Bit far from Guildford but Martin's Tyres Knaphill may do it.

Many tyre fitters will not want to touch Run-flat repairs for the reason mentioned. You will just have to shop around and see who is willing to do it.

As long as it's fixable Martins will do it for you.
