Since I'm moaning about loud exhausts on biker banter, thought I should balance it here.

Seems mornings someone in a clapped out E36 roars up towards Weybridge from Byfleet and hooks left towards brooklands. On foot a couple of times last week he came past -- distinctive car with blue nearside wheel -- honestly the racket is beyond belief and early in the day.

Anyone on here? What's the story, bro? Don't you know people are living around there trying to sleep?

But as you say, motorbikes are by far the worst offenders with this. Many times throughout the day I'll hear motorbikes roar up the road by my house with overly loud exhausts (and breaking the speed limit).

Absolutely agree but this car is off the chart loud, way more so than your usual Saxo chav.

As regards speed, I don't really care what number people have on their speedo compared with the speed limit, provided they're not being dangerous.

Have you heard The white R8 in Woking? Theres also a blue e39, assuming 535 or 540, with a loud exhaust who drives like a total bellend.

Lol I met Lee recently and mentioned about how loud his car is. I got the feeling he knew about his reputation on the noise stakes!

That blue E39, is it lowered on some rubbish big wheels?

He sure does drive like a bellend. Foot to the floor everywhere. Some stupid overtakes too, blind corners, over white cross hatchings etc. Moron.

There used to be a blue E36 BMW (cant recall if it was a compact or a coupe) in Wokingham that was unbelivably loud, and a really nasty raspy loud too.

He worked at Wokingham Waitrose from memory.

Not seen it in a while so prehaps he sold it to someone near brooklands?

Yeah - Makes the R8 sound normal. Ive seen him overtake and undertake down the small stretch of Guildford road next to the barrats flats and ye olde fish market many times as I sit looking out the window when Im working. Absolute lunatic.

If we're going to list absurdly loud cars, there's a Civic [stanced] with a stupidly loud exhaust goes

up and down the A217 Burgh Heath/Banstead also at absurd speeds, well over the 40 limit.

Civics seem to be the car of choice round here for stancing.

I can think of 4 different cars currently.

What car is it ?

I hear EVERYTHING as I live very near the main road.

Most don't bother me but this Civic is beyond loud.

Not sure it has any silencing fitted.

I drive a Honda Civic. Its stanced with many mods. Exhaust is straight through so no silencers. I like to drive really fast as the chicks love that wink

Not really.

I have a white Mustang driving

Is it an older shaped silver one with a very loud stereo? I think I have seen it going around.
