Dealer advice - Sascron

Does anyone have experience of Sascron in Thatcham? http://www.sascron.co.uk/
In particular, becuase of distance, I would be buying a car from them 'unseen'. Price and description, photos are good if it's as advertised.
Any experiences welcomed, PM if you prefer.

No experience of buying from them but I have been in to take a look at their cars. They seem decent and their cars seem to be as described on their website. The sales staff aren't pushy - I've walked around without being approached at all and when I did talk to someone they didn't do any hard sell which suggests they know they can sell their cars easily enough.

I'd guess you are talking about a car from same batch, but obviously different if buyer wasn't made aware at the time.

How odd! Here's the thread, however no conclusion so not very satisfactory. I would guess it was resolved positively or else he'd have kept coming back. I live very close to this place and on a few occasions I have been down to look at their cars. They have loads of nice looking cars at fairly sensible prices but I have not bought from them and would likely never do so.....If you spend more than twenty minutes there you are likely to see someone arguing with them on the forecourt about their recent purchase.
The reviews on the link are as you would expect....They do sell loads of cars and some will have issues...this is not important it is how the issues are dealt with.

I bought my Saab from them and everything was fine. They replaced the gear stick surround as it was a bit wobbly and I noticed that the left hand electric wing mirror wasn't working. They arranged for me to pop into the local Vauxhall dealer and have it replaced at my convenience and it was put on their tab so I didn't have to pay and then claim back. Salesman was helpful and I'm happy with the car.

Went to see an M135i at Sascron Ltd this afternoon. Lovely car, ideal spec and a pretty good deal was on the cards. However, an awful attitude from their owner and Transaction Manager (whatever that is) plus a refusal to allow a test drive unless I commit to a sale meant I walked.
Real shame as manual M135i's in that spec are rare, the search continues.

I have an experience with them.
I was in the market for a E class Merc, or a XC60.
I turned up to the dealership in my 6 year old Mondeo, with the wife and 2 kids.
I was needing a car for motorway journeys (20k miles a year, mosly by myself).
We had a rummage on the forecourt, and found a nice E350 coupe - also some C class estate.
When I asked for a test drive, the guy asked me - if I want to buy the car Today.
I did not (I didn't arrange the finance yet, I always opt for personal loans), I said I'm just looking, and need confirmation if my job contract will be extended or not.
So - the guy bluntly said that they're a car supermarket, and only deal with commited customers. And sent me on my merry way.
I think we got to sit in one or two cars stationary, but that was about it.
So - next week I got the job extension, the loan and bought a E350 saloon (more suitable for us) from a dealer next to my house. And a full grand cheaper.
Not to mention that they didn't actually have any XC60 in stock at that time, and the prices weren't all that great.
I'd say "meh".
