Decent Tyre fitter - Basingstoke

Hi everyone,

Just moved from Camberley to Basingstoke and need two tyres fitted which I've bought from Camskill.

Used to go to Ropers in Farnborough and was looking for some recommendations for a similar style place in Basingstoke. Not overly keen on getting charged a fortune by one of the chains and prefer to use Indies.

Basingstoke MOT & Tyre,have served my cars well over the last 2 years. They've two sites, one on Wade Road (near the tip) and the other is behind Toys R Us/McDonalds. They also operate the Basingstoke Auto Centre (near the Victory Roundabout and BCOT); which deos more indepth repairs i.e. engine diagnostics, clutches, water pumps, etc.

I find they have the Look and layout of one of the chains but the friendliness and personal touch of an independent.

Thanks for the replies guys, used Tadley before but feels like a mission to get to

ended up at Ropers in Farnborough again, £15 for two tyres changed and balanced

Anyone tried micheldever tyres? Just down the road from Basingstoke too.

I use Micheldever all the time. Usually good prices and they are quick & safe for your alloys.
Headley Tyres near Kingsclere are part of the same group and have just moved to purpose built premises so should also be good but I haven't tried them yet. A lot of people I work with in Kingsclere use them though.

Steve is one of my daughter's friend's Dad, great service before he knew me though!
