I am guessing that although there is police tape there that it does not have a "Police Aware" sticker on it? That is usually the thing that signals a free for all of local scrotes stealing bits off cars, smashing windows etc..

Surprisingly not round here, car the other side of Reading on the A4 with Police Aware stickers still in fairly good nick! Looked like it had been there a while. Also Wokingham (site of op car) is in the top 10 areas to live in the country.

I have noticed this car a few times and suspect the reason no one has stopped to "dismantle it" is because it is on such a blind bend.

I drive by this every day (silver s2000 if anyone ever sees me! never thought to look in this forum before...

Anyway my passenger snapped a photo of this a while ago if that helps add to the other photo for you guys who haven't seen it/making enquiries elsewhere. Not the best snap ever though. Still there as of today! Makes me drive ever so slightly slower around that bend though...

Ahh I drive the other direction so will keep an eye out on the way home... The inner track of that corner is in pretty poor condition so I've been wondering If that's how they managed it? Left wheels tramlined or just drifted out.

See so many people cycle that road with poor visibility too which can't help...

Probably be cloned if its lost its plates. Either that, or the owner has come and claimed them back? Just too embarrassed to admit he parked his car in the ditch.

There's a Clio that's been rolled and currently 'parked up' on the frontage to the golf course by Pirbright bends. That's also been there since before Xmas.

Passed it, again, just yesterday. I think it had some tape around it and in passing it did look like the blue and white Police safety tape. I thought at Xmas they would wait till the holiday season was over to clear it but a month has gone by. In the same area I heard that a drunk driver ran over a kid on a bike.

I am assuming recovered, or possibly stolen, who knows.
