Can anyone suggest where I can have a set of four petrol injectors cleaned and tested in the Reading area or failing that somewhere not too far away?
Injectors are off the car so it's only the testing and cleaning which needs doing.
TIA.

A lot will depend on the type of injector, what car its from, age etc.Normally an injector is tested on a running engine with a "plug in" diagnostic tool as its all controlled via the ECU.Lots of issues like fuel line pressure will affect an injector,so an on board test is essential.
As for cleaning, the best product is FORTE.A can of injector cleaner and fuel treatment in the fuel tank does wonders. Its very good stuff but its only sold to professionals in the trade.

Have a word with these guys http://raengineeringreading.co.uk/ they have a BOSCH rolling road and all the other stuff for checking.

Thanks for the replies.
Unfortunately RA's machines doesn't work and, given it will cost him a grand to fix it, unlikely to in the foreseeable future.
What I have turned up is this guy http://mrinjectoruk.co.uk/ who, having spoken to him, seems to have wide experience and his price to service and flow test at £12.50 per injector is very reasonable.
He can also supply new injectors and service kits (£18.50 in my case) for most applications.
Cheers, Pewe.

^^ 90's Jap with Denso injectors.
Feedback from ANOther forum on Mr Injector's all positive and I believe he'll even service first generation injectors.
