Can anyone recommend a PDR guy in or near Sutton/Croydon. Small dent on my once immaculate Passat rear door, stands out like a sore thumb! Either mobile guy or I can take it to a base.

This is the guy I use and he does great work:

I think he will only do work from his base in Twickenham these days, but maybe worth a call if you are ever up that way.

Richard Dents (no joke).

He's excellent, and very reasonably priced, he recently got a small dent out of my gleaming S2000 for £25, it's the second time I have used him - he's been going to our place of work for years.

Accidental or not I enjoyed the title!

If you get no joy with the other guys I know a chap who isn't that local but can travel to you. Good luck!

I watched a dent man remove a ding right on the curved area below the door handle on a brand new Maserati which must have been £120k +
Was not impressed with the finished result as it was still visible
This at a well known dealership and got a good look at the before and after.
Pleased is was not my purchase.

Its a bit like screen repairs as the chip is still there, just filled with resin.

Disagree, some dent guys are better than others. Especially at the larger dealerships the managers mate or someone greasing some palms may be their first choice but it doesn't mean he is good. Also depends on dent location as some places are very difficult to access. Having said that really nasty dents with various creases etc will always be visible afterward.
