Looking for ideas for decent food/pub food close to Wentworth/Virginia Water to take a good friend to when over at the weekend.

Any thoughts?

Take your pick;

http://www.thethatchedtavern.co.uk/ - nice pub, good food, reasonable prices and friendly - top of the list for me

http://www.stovells.com/desktop/ - gastro pub, good food, less reasonable prices - nice for the odd treat

http://www.bluebells-restaurant.co.uk/ - restaurant, excellent food, expensive - special occasion type place

http://www.winecircle.co.uk/ - boutique-ey deli/restaurant, excellent food, ok-ish prices - nice for a change from run of the mill places to eat

http://www.thejaderestaurantsunninghill.co.uk/ - nice food, typical oriental price list

www.thetigerspad.co.uk/ - been a few years since I have eaten here but used to serve a good curry in quirky surroundings at OK prices

http://www.mikadorestaurant.co.uk/ - have not been here for a while but the food has always been excellent, surroundings can be a little quiet mid-week, prices maybe 10% more expensive than most high street orientals but worth a visit

The Rose and Olive Branch, not a posh gastro pub, but do amazing pies and wellingtons.

Just to wrap this up, we ended up at The Brick makers, good food and service and decent atmosphere too.

Definitely need to book though if you want to eat on a Sunday evening so thanks for the heads up!
