I am sure that what i saw thanks LS while your here has anyone actually been prosecuted for speeding through the hindhead tunnel ?

Sadly that is a great mystery, I know they calibrated the cameras, but another dept looks after the county's cameras and they keep things close to their chest!!

There has been several prosecutions of naff driving etc in and around the tunnel, mainly due to the thousands of cameras they have there which provide the evidence required!

Also, in normal operation it's not a solid line and you can change lanes inside the tunnel - it seems many people think you can't!!

That's a relief about the lane changing in the tunnel, it does feel like you shouldnt be changing lanes, not really sure why but I felt guilty when I recently did it.

As for the Hyundai, I posted in the unmarked thread about seeing one, but the one I saw was black not silver. Pants car I felt sorry for the bib driving it
