To be confirmed tomorrow apparently, but there is a good chance that the Vulcan will include a flypast of Farnborough as part of her Farewell Tour on Sunday.

I'm looking forward to it - saw her at Gaydon last weekend, but I'd never miss a chance to see her, especially in my home town.

If anyone doesn't know the area, happy to meet them at my office (GU14 6AA) and walk down to RAE Road with them to watch her.

Will we know what flightpath she will take in and out of F'boro in advance?

I think it will come from the south, over the airfield and then out west, but it will be confirmed tonight (if its even coming to Farnborough)

My unit is on the North of the Airfield so we may decamp to the south somewhere

You've moved from Longross? If it does come, I'm going to be there...

I'd be up for that, hopefully they'll confirm the path tonight.

Once we know the flightpath, I'll look at where's best to be... whether that's East at Rae Road, although it will get busy down there, or whether a South vantage point off the fleet road will be better... Either way I'm happy to help with parking around work and getting to a good spot.

Thinking about it, the FAST museum has a pretty fantastic vantage point...

Im told that these timing are from the locations themselves, and not from VTTS, but I would imagine that Farnborough could fit nicely in between?

I'm also hoping to see this on the Sunday. I live in Church Crookham. Caesar's Camp would be a good vantage point as it overlooks the airfield

According to the MET office, the forecast is "cloudy" but no rain.

No times though for the Farnborough fly past, so we'll have to wait till Friday. It seems like it's not the final flight as there still going to fly at least two more times in late October. So there's still a couple more chances to see her flying.
